Yes indeed. Emphasis on plural.
After my research dismay yesterday, I went right to my closet
To find my cooler. I told the local provision shop that my birthday is Oct 29
So that I could get a free six pack for this show :)

I get to go see what my present is tomorrow! I do hope they let me pick out the six pack.

In the meantime, this year's official Halloween beer is:

The Nobel is worth toasting.
Swedish beer.
Hmmm, certainly grabs the wallet, but nothing really seems to stand out.

I read now in his FB page that Bob will perform in Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware. June 15-18

Event on FB: https://www.facebook.com/FireflyMusicFestival/

Well, I imagine that the summer tour will take place in the United States/Canada.

Do people still drink beer at these shows or is it more of a Geritol-thing now?

I only drink water at the shows, but I can confirm that many people did drink beer (among other things) in Stockholm. And I suspect there will be no shortage of beer at the Amsterdam shows.

I drink as little as possible before the shows, and nothing during the shows. But a lot after!
And I think it's strange they allow drinks inside halls like the Waterfront with carpet floor.
They must spend a whole lot of time cleaning it afterwards.

I usually don't drink before the shows, but the intermissions and all seated shows did encourage a few pints before hand, because you had the perfect slot to slip away to the bathroom half way through. Now the intermission's gone, I'll be back to only post-show pints.

Well, now that we're out of Europe, perhaps beer will come back on the menu.

Since everyone stopped drinking, I will have to increase my intake.
Llama reminded me about this thread today and so I will post yet another thought into the ether.

Zero Gravity Craft Brewery in Burlington VT gets today's kudos for hosting an after Bob Show mini-drinking binge.

When in Burlington, check it out. My favorite of the night was this one:

MR. BLACK
GERMAN SCHWARZ - German-style black lager brewed with a flavorful blend of all German roasted malts and hops.
Incredibly smooth and surprisingly light on the palate.
STYLE:
German Schwarz
MALT:
Pilsner, Munich, Carafa III
HOPS:
Hallertu Mittelfruh
YEAST:
German Lager
APPEARANCE:
Black
IBU:
22
ABV:
4.8%
OG:
12.4°P

Careful, you don't want to spend the entire show at the bathroom.

So this German Schwarz is basically a stout, right ? I am slowly developing a taste for this kind of beer...

Black lagers are not stouts, which are in the ale category.

A lager is a lovely thing in the summer time. Black lagers pair especially well with sundown and wursts.

Black IPAs are also worth checking out when you have a chance!
