3 things are extraordinary .
One is that he is keeping up this level of touring when on his next birthday he'll be 76
Second is that his performances seems to be improving.
Third is that , if he keeps touring, it would be extraordinary if there aren't a lot of European, including england , scotland , wales and ireland, dates next year.

I suppose that's the thought behind the "seperate tours in Europe / UK" rumor. We might get both the festival set and the theater set, whatever it is at the time.

Beside the fact that I don't know any new rumors – I'd say that it is unwise not to capitalize on the Nobel Prize. Bob Dylan's biggest markets are the US and Europe. Therefore I think he'll tour big venues in Europe and the US as soon as possible, i.e. in Spring. And it might be a clever move to start the pre-sale in early mid December, i.e. before Christmas and around the time of Nobel prize ceremony. After all the Nobel prize hype might be his last chance to sell out bigger venues (even outside major cities like New York, L.A., Paris and London)

If he does a few other dates in the UK other than the Royal Albert Hall I will be tempted to travel, it was a nightmare trying to get tickets for the Royal Albert Hall gigs last time around. Those secondary ticketing sites have a lot to answer for and no one seems to have got to grips with the fiasco. The sale of the Phil Collins tickets even made the daily papers, genuine fans had been waiting for hours to get tix but whilst they were in the waiting room on their PC or trying to get through on the phone tickets were appearing on secondary ticketing sites, sometimes in excess of £2,000 per ticket. to quote one of his albums - not 'Face Value'.

"The sale of the Phil Collins tickets" I seem to remember that name being spelled differently in these parts?

Bob would be crazy not to go to Europe.
Still not even selling out 2000 seat theaters in the USA.

These are Radiohead Dates for European Festivals.

Just to get an idea of when these are:

June 11 – Aarhus, Denmark – Adalan (Northside Festival)
June 18 – Hilvarenbeek, Netherlands – Beekse Bergen (Best Kept Secret)
June 23 – Pilton, England – Worthy Farm (Glastonbury Festival)
June 28 – Gdynia, Poland – Festival Grounds (Open’er Festival)
June 30 – Werchter, Belgium – Festivalpark (Rock Werchter)
July 2 – Arras, France – Arras Main Square (Main Square Festival)

We have some Festival Dates to see if anyone else happens to play these as well.

True and with the set pretty much done. This is a good time to do so.

& December or so would be a nice time to announce and begin ticket sales as you've mentioned.

If he takes it somewhere exotic, I'm going.
I don't think the Nobel is viable, but I'd love to see that one.

When it comes to European dates I tend to go for places I can get to from Luton - it's just up the road! If he were to do Lucca again Pisa would be a good flight!

Quote:
"We are in talks with the Nobel Prize for Literature Bob Dylan, for his concert at the Auditorium. What will be the date, however, the lineup of the concert, the songs ... the answer my friend, is blowin 'in the wind! ". This was announced by the CEO of the Musica per Roma Foundation, Ramon Jose Dosal, during the press conference of the new season of the Auditorium Parco della Musica, citing one of the most famous rock of the minstrel songs. Dosal also announced a very special date with Patty Smith on May 13, "a unique acoustic concert in honor of Pope Francis".

Summer 2017 in Europe sounds like a winner.
The more ancient amphitheaters, the better!

Rumours from where?

I missed the 2014 tour here, so haven't seen Bob since 2011. Please make it happen.

Please Lord be true! Where did you hear this?

Another show at the Palais Theatre in St Kilda would be a treat, perhaps even drop in at the Tivoli one more time in Brisbane (what a show! what an intimate venue!)
