I love the way that Bob just stares down the audience at the end of this. The performance is a classic also.

Maybe it should and a mod could move it - but I forgot there was such a place (I doubt I'm the only one).

A few months ago, I was looking for the longest harmonica solo Bob ever played. Maybe there's a longer performance out there, but this is the longest one I've found: 3 minutes 48 seconds. Nice to see a video of it.

I went to both Liverpool shows in 1996- in the famous , ornate , and smallish Empire theatre . These were the only UK indoor shows that year.Al Kooper joined the band playing organ. Tickets sold out within hours of going on sale, but many tickets became available later because the shows clashed with Euro football , hosted by England that year , with Anfield being one of the venues. For some Football vs Dylan was no contest. I remember that harmonica solo . 1996 was the last time i queued all night to be at the real box office as tickets went on sale, hoping for good seats, and getting a few front row seats for both nights. The internet was around then , but not what it is now !
Whoever got the videos did well.Video equipment was less compact then, and the anti photo policy was already well and truly in place. A friend of mine was escorted out for taking pictures, though they let him back after the camera was confiscated.

The magic of professional video editing.

I think it was edited out for the official music video release.

:!:  :D

a sneaked in video online today is showing Bob singing from very, very close to today -just a couple of days ago-He Looks Fantastic!!!! I haven't been able to hear it yet, but have watched it several times even without the sound (Tangled Up In Blue) Because I Love the way He Looks in it! He is unbelievable :D :D ::heart:: At first, i thought he had a cross by the feminine statue shown at the beginning, but then realized it was the Grammy- but still... this is just in every way visually an especial heart stealer.

and Re one of his Best Ever Videos: ever since he got the Oscar, Bob has it looking over shows perched atop his amplifier.(But everybody knows he also won a Grammy of "Gotta Serve Somebody", even it wasn't the one he carries to the shows-) :)

But even though they are both award statues, even if one is a person look, and another is one of those horn looks -whenever I've seen him, like many females, I look more at him than the statues. So- :)

So that video was still on to Hear the music he did on it, and the sound was almost as good as he just was so terrifically "on"! So they posted that Best one of videos over on the photo section, too. How Good to see him on that AND How Great to hear :!: :D

I've always been charmed by his performance on Letterman's 10th Anniversary
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YedNVVw8LD0

Its pretty terrible, but with Letterman's overblown introduction and the Legendary backup band, Dylan's lackluster performance almost works as the punchline to a slightly overlong joke.

Charming? LOL that's one way to take it.

Everyone on the stage cares so much more than Bob. When I watch this I see Bob sagging under the heaps of praise and adulation. I can imagine in his mind he is burdened by the reverence and sometimes just wants to be considered one of "us" instead of the mythological creature known as "Bob Dylan."
