As for the last 3 years I guess we will get a Vol. XIII this year and I hope it includes " Blood on the tracks " material.

Also I am ready for a " Gospel " set, maybe with a DVD included.

Guess what ???

I´ll surely take it cause it is from His Bobness. 8)

it'd be lovely to have a 1973-1976 set featuring the remaining test pressing exclusives from BOTT, Desire outtakes and some more 1976 live tracks (SLC Jack Of Hearts if they have that, SLC Black Diamond Bay if it was actually played, live I Want You, Leopard-Skin, If You See Her, You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome, Going Going Gone etc...) plus Bonus Bluray/DVDs of R&C (and existing outtakes), Hard Rain and the Clearwater video (if they still have that one)

I just finished reading the Desire section of Behind the Shades and I am now more convinced than ever that BS13 needs to be a combined BOTT and Desire collection. I hope that recordings exist in the vaults of the Other End performances of the early versions of the Desire songs. I hope there's a demo version of Isis from back when it was a dirge. I hope that the jam sessions Dylan set up with Bloomfield and other musicians testing the waters for BOTT exist somewhere. While I'm sure most of this is lost to history, even one instance of something like this surfacing could be considered a holy grail level find for the BD community.

Looking at my bank account, I hope this year's release turns out to be something a little less ornate than the previous three. A modest two-disc set of something would be a nice breather but, alas, I think now that they know people will shell out huge sums the boxes will get increasingly bigger and unwieldy and the completist in me will be reluctantly reaching for the credit card.

I don't see Sony only offering two-disc Bootleg series from now on. Why leave money on the table when there is a market for this stuff? There's a format for every budget with this series. Personally, I don't want any breathers. :D

I hear that. The Basement Tapes released in full I got behind, but even the six-disc The Cutting Edge was too much IMO-- I didn't want another one of those big sets crowding my shelf! Not for outtakes. Hell no. Bought it on iTunes and collaged my own package for it and felt like that was my only solution for feeling taken advantage of by Sony.

20 Years, Working Man & Fur all make good points.
I don't want any breathers either, but am definitely getting behind on the multiple-version stuff as of Cutting Edge. Yes, they're too big yet glad they are there!
Actually finding the time to totally enjoy them uninterrupted is the challenge and crux of the situation over here.

There are some people here who would definitely buy that, I'm just wondering what little goodies they would put in the deluxe limited collector's box.

Any news or hints of a Bootleg Series 13 yet? Would love a BOTT/Desire era box or would be delighted with a gospel box. Gah!!

I just heard the Jerry Maguire soundtrack Shelter from the Storm for the first time. Wow!! I've never been so excited for what might be in store for the BOTT bootleg series!!

It's bizarre that that one song was on the Jerry McGuire soundtrack. What an weird choice, but hey, it sounds great and there's that extra verse!

I guess I wasn't even aware of this. If this kind of alternate BOTT material is available then maybe that BS release will be truly legendary. Here's hoping!!

I prefer the album take but that verse is kinda fun although possibly too 'personal'.
I've been running those lines in the back of my mind many a times, anyhow.

Now the bonds are broken, but they can be retied
by one more journey to the woods, the holes where spirits hide.
It's a never-ending battle for a peace that's always torn.
"Come in," she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm."

"During the first couple of days in New York, Bob played the songs solo on acoustic guitar," says the source. "They're very different than anything that's been heard before and they're very special."

The version of "Shelter" from the "Jerry Maguire" soundtrack seems to come from those early sessions.
