My mistake; I misread the title of the thread.

Saw some of Bob's paintings at NOMA this weekend.
Some of them are really very good !!
esp. Train Station, Churchgoers, Rope.

The museum is showing half of the paintings now and the other half starting in June.
NOMA wasn't prepared for the exhibit...whoever handles the paintings for Bob
called up the museum at the last minute and asked if they'd like to show them
during Jazz Fest. So, of course, the museum said "yes" and made room for as many
as they could in the "Grand Hall." 8)

It’s worth noting that a 2011 exhibition of Dylan’s “The Asia Series” at New York’s Gagosian Gallery stirred up minor controversy when observers noticed striking similarities between Dylan’s work and older works by other artists, raising questions about artistic appropriation and attribution of source materials, though Rotondo-McCord says she doesn’t believe there’s a “one-to-one transference or appropriation of anything” in the “The New Orleans Series.”

It's silly to claim a belief in no "appropriation of anything" in this series at this late date.

She's clearly not into vintage postcards and brochures.

Still no book for the New Orleans series? Hopefully one will come along, I've enjoyed the previous ones and this looks like as interesting of collection as the Asia series.

A New Orleans Series catalogue/book would be nice, but it seems they are still holding out on that particular one. Same with the Gangster Doors.
