It’s burned a bit when folks here and elsewhere complain about my inconsistent presentation of the TTRH. I wish they would remember that I was there from the start and so my files were what they were, but so it goes. Time marches on! Expectations increase (and rightfully so.)

Over the last year I have done my best to put together a fresh iteration of the entire 100-show series. MP3s @ 320 sourced from the best FLACs I could find. And most importantly I have taken a lot of time to tag every show carefully. Indeed I have used show transcriptions from these forums to fill in info. I have tried to tag every single track appropriately to my own taste and judgment. I have done my own research and it has been very rewarding. This is indeed the best radio show. EVER. And Karl's allowing me to play my versions here has changed my life forever. No kidding.

My plan is to eventually present a truly definitive @320 version of the entire run, specifically with regards to track information (clips, jingles, etc). The FLACs should stay out there as x up as they are—there is a risk that this could go up for sale (and some might accuse me of that). But the filler is half the fun of the show! We wanna know. And so I have tried to provide. So if you find mistakes I want to know! I want this to be out there 100 years from now with every detail correct. This show will outlive us all, not just Maestro Picasso.

It is not yet complete (I think I have one more revision in me) but the tags are good and you can help, or they are better, anyway, and the best out there, and I even split up a couple of the 3rd season’s shows the way they should be (it bugs me when Bob’s talk is included with the tunes).

So I hope this is OK with Karl that I post these linked on Mega, but that seems to be the way things are going. Don’t use Safari: use Chrome or Firefox.

Enjoy and please don't mind my posting style evolution!

Oh, and every track has the correct artist(s) and date(s) (with more than a few fixed)!

Pending further corrections...

I feel stupid, but I should have asked Fred right off the bat: hey, Fred, care to edit my versions? Any info you can offer will go in to v3. :D And I can of course give you FTP access to all three.

Hey, you are welcome: I hope these are worth it! I know we have a bunch of versions but I felt the need to really tag HARD. No version that I had really took care of taking care of what was being played. So I think this is the best.... SO FAR! :D One of these years my tags will match up with the best sounding version out there. But I am determined to provide the best tags possible. This show deserves it!

And see, I have already fixed a tag. Track 11 of the 1st show (Weather) should read

Cloud types - The Consolers

Bob describes a few cloud types and that's worth noting... or NOT. That was the hardest part, really: deciding what was worth noting. I think the cloud types were. An early mistake on my part. The first of many I am sure.

What I tried t' do here was give as much detail to Bob's commentary as possible, and then let his guests be and his playlists be. So when he talks about an artist it is just their name, and when he has a guest it is just their name. The rest of the time I tried to find out what was goin' on; what that x was talkin' 'bout. It got harder in Season Three lemme tll ya! Oh boy I hope we get I fourth season. You know, we might. *fingers crossed*

I also tried to be consistent wth E-Mail and Phone calls... so many funny names! :D

And I just want to say wow, nice, but subtle changes that Karl has made to these amazing forums.... perhaps just taking advantage of the best/new aspects of phpBB. Impressive, KE. :)

Hey, KE, why don't you let us delete posts?! I make an ass of myself often enough on my own forums I want to minimize it.

Another "correction" - from the 2nd episode the E-Mail is from "John Rudolph"

I am gonna have to start this all over again. And that's OK! I should do it soon, though. Leaving it too long was why forgot all the good stuff and it made it so hard to recall and re-tag.

Re-load and shoot at her again."

It looks like I have PMs turned off and I don't know how to turn them on. Not sure I want to. Last time I was here I got a lot of hate mail, that's why I am here trying to redeem myself, I guess. If you want to write my email is above.

Cruz, thanks for making the effort now, and then to put these shows together.
I miss your page! Have you brought it back to life? (I'm referring to the non Dylan stuff as well) The closest thing I get to my 'Croz' fix is 'Open Culture' which is, in its own right, a terrific page.
Peace!

This looks great, and on my Birthday no less!

I lost all these shows when my computer crashed some years back and I have been putting off re-downloading them for some time...

Now I have the perfect reason to start all over again.

So thank you for this, and the effort and time you have put into it(would have prefered Mediafire, but beggars can't be chosers).

Can't wait to relisten to this wonderful show again.

Be happy to Croz, and again, thank you for everything you've done for the community, from White Man Stew to when Bob Dylan Ate Your Blog  There are always going to be complainers. It's the nature of the Internet Beast. But know you have the appreciation of hundreds -- probably thousands -- of silent fa ns.

Zap me an email or PM when you have a sec.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I was going to come in here and ask if anyone knew where I could get ALL the TTRH episodes. I was literally thinking of it this week. You were psychic! Can't thank you enough for this!

Just finished Downloading all 100 Episodes(whew!).

Can't say thank you enough again for doing this. Excellently tagged btw.

If you do not have these shows, or perhaps even if you do, download this! It's pretty much perfect.

That was my goal, along with the high quality @320 sourced from the best quality FLACs - it makes a difference for sure! I am delighted that you are satisfied. :D

I still have some editing to do: there are episodes from the first two seasons that combine commentary into the tracks (17-20 tracks as opposed ~30) and I don't like that. I want my Bob Talk (and tags) separate from my tracks! So I plan to edit those episodes as I did the similar ones from Season 3. It takes a bit of time but it's worth it for consistency. Season 3 is the best so far. We learn as we go! :D
