Expecting Rain

The Rolling Thunder Revue tours were so visually pleasing, and there are still 'new,' unseen photos appearing these days. Obviously, we / they focus mostly on Bob, but I'm looking to compile a more complete picture, collecting photos taken during the RTR tours of the other performers, artists and guests. Maybe and hopefully some of you may know of some such photos... post away.

I hope this topic will be allowed in this subforum - I think it still stands the best chance here, even if not focusing directly on Bob.

Post away! This is a great thread. If anyone hasn't read both On The Road With Bob Dylan by Ratso and Rolling Thunder Logbook by Sam Shepard they should be temporarily suspended from ER until they have done so. I particularity love that photo of McGuinn with the double ricky.

This is a great picture! If Joan wore a hat, the impression of twins would be perfect.
I also like the composition of this pic: Bob not directly behind the mic, yet right in the middle of the picture. Framed by four people to his left and four people to the right.

That would have been my next question. Olof says...

She did, but they were taken out of context. I think Joni is a lot like Bob in an interview anyway. She learned from the best. I know she's not doing well lately, hope she pulls through.

And anyway, so what if she did make negative comments about Dylan? So do I at times. It's allowed to have an opinion.
