This is a thread for people to post the Dylaniana that appears on their walls. Posters, art, photos, album covers, framed ticket stubs, whatever's there, post a picture, preferably of the item in situ and with a bit of explanation of why it's where it is and what it means to you.

Image

I've got this picture beautifully framed and mounted - it's enhanced the wall it appeared on for many years. It is currently awaiting a return to it's eminence after some decorating. I'll post a picture of the whole thing when that happens.

I've got some other stuff too....

Good idea for a thread. I'll have to have a bit of a photo session once it's sunny enough to do so...

This is a beautiful idea for a thread.
I will contribute more after I finish setting up my office and finish unpacking my Dylan wallflowers.

I do have a giant-sized poster of this image, with Mr. Bloomfield cropped out,
that has travelled with me to each residence I've lived in outside of my parents'.
First it was a dorm poster,
then an office poster,
then a den/basement poster,
and now it may become a garage poster. he did invent garage rock right? 8)

Just over my PC, I have two similar posters from the shows in Carcassonne and Barcelona in 2010, one in blue, one in read, side by side. The red one a little higher. About a meter to the right there is a Radiohead poster.

I have a giclee print (#3 of 50) of this beautiful portrait of Dylan by artist Bill Murphy. I will try to get a decent photo of it later.

I have a framed print of André Carrilho's caricature used as the cover of the Mar. 2010 issue of The Word:

Magazine cover (crazyaboutmagazines.com)
Magazine cover (eBay)
The full caricature (from André Carrilho's site)

I found it still wrapped in thick plastic at an old antique shop (was looking for records at the time).

$10 well spent on what appears to be a great, overlooked illustration in the realm of Dylan caricatures.

And I learned about a new artist when I did research on it.

I don't have anything of Dylan on my wall, but I have a few little advertisements that were inside his albums as part of the Collage that's part of my mirror in my bedroom. I have various pieces of Movie, Boxing and other stuff there. Like a Label off a Beer Bottle that holds a memory of a particular night. A drawing from a friend, and other assorted oddities

I have a couple of wall/door decorations - the first is a picture my daughter gave me for Christmas a few years ago. The poster of Bob with horn was one that Janice, JP, and I think Milkcow all went in on ordering several years ago - the other side of the poster is a photo of mod Bob.

Very nice, zwiggen! How did you put that picture of Dylan on the turntable?

We needed to consider that when somebody sent us a photo of the Nashville Skyline painting at Golden Oldies in Wallingford to fit in with the collection cover covers classification.

That's magnificent zwiggen! I'm so jealous of that turntable!
