My flabber is completely ghasted by this wonderfully stinky thread - a world of cheese at our fingertips. I hope sony take note and issue a special edition BS Series with the grooves cut into a disc of Mongolian sheep cheese. As the disc revolved and the stylus cut into the cheese I would stand by my cheese-player with a slice of bread and some pickles, and cleaning the disc after use would be SO satisfying.... mmm I need a cigar... and some Stinking Bishop.

This Holiday Season, celebrate with the Holiest of cheese, Swiss.

It's Christmas so I spend a small fortune on cheese with Cranberry running through it.

Why is it still in the back of fridge uneaten in March?

During the Holidays, I always have about 10 different cheeses in my refrigerator - ready to pull out at a moment's notice to serve to passers-by, along with assorted crackers and wine - the very best welcoming refreshments.

It is very gratifying to see that the prince of foodstuffs is still under discussion. I have discovered that blue cheese contains a natural form of amphetamine (well, actually I didn't discover it, I read about it the other day) - this explains a great deal. It is after 4am, I have a busy day tomorrow, and yet I am wide awake having consumed some very nice Danish Blue.... I hope it won't lead to harder cheeses. If it does, I guess that will just be 'hard cheese' to coin a phrase.

I have found that The Cutting Edge is perfect for slicing a medium cheese, and a nice Emmental, with plenty of holes in, accompanies it very well - in fact those tracks that are incomplete seem almost custom made, the holes intersecting very well with the pauses in the recording. Bob was really on to something during his cheese/amphetamine period. I suspect he ate little else, but it clearly kept him productive and full of, well - not beans exactly... cheese I suppose.

I prefer smoked Gouda. It has an edible, brown rind and a creamy, yellow interior. It perfectly complements the Cutting Edge.

Sounds good, but a nice creamy french cheese infused with garlic works wonders too.... I am trying to use a different cheese for each track session on Cutting Edge, as each song has it's own fragrance and depth, just like good cheese. I do wonder if the mould on my favourite cheeses is reflected by the tape foxing, and I am not a huge fan of digital cheese. In an ideal world cheese would mostly be in mono, but experienced through fabulous taste buds, not dissimilar to studio quality speakers, but located in the mouth and nose. I hope eventually to catalogue each cheese/track interface, and even different vintage cheeses as compared to different takes of the same song - the small variations mean so much, and some cheeses reach their full potential earlier than one might think, just like a woman.
