The German radio station RadioEins just announced that they will exclusively broadcast an "unknown" episode of Theme Time Radio Hour this week called "Theme Time Radio Hour Kiss Show" (February 11, 9-10 pm MEZ).

http://www.radioeins.de/themen/musik/fr ... -show.html

Is it really unkown or did I miss something?

Nothing else even comes up on Google. This is too good.

From the theme, I suppose it's sort of a Valentine's Day special... the timing fits and you'd think they'd air it elsewhere as well.

They clarified on their Facebook page that the episode is unknown and has never been aired before.

I will record this show for sure.

(as I won't be able to listen live myself  )

How great is this!! It could be an Valentine's alternative to the 'Heart' show from a different season... Highly interesting!

I would be so grateful for a good quality recording of this. I'm suspicious though, why hasn't it been mentioned anywhere else? It's not a compilation of extracts from already broadcast shows e.g. 'Heart' is it?

I presume it's 8pm UK time?

Wasn't that title mentioned in a Rolling Stone article, but it was just assumed they got the title wrong since it never aired?

Having never listened to any 'Theme Time' before, this would seem like an opportune time to start.

If someone could record it, well they'd be wonderful!

It's going to be some marketing thing. SITN, tour dates, Valentine's radio special... buy two tickets and get three roses free with your VIP package. Am I being unromantic? :?

All other episodes were shared on here freely via links with no PMs involved.... I hope that won't (have to) change?

Well, I'm going to try to record it, too, although the RadioEins online player sounds super lo-fi. Interesting piece of trivia. The last original episode of TTRH was broadcast Wednesday, April 15, 2009, or almost exactly 6 years ago to the day.

Lo-Fi is better than No-Fi, Fred...

What is even more exciting is that if this is just an unaired episode, it is an *unknown* episode - previously "known" unaired episodes such as Parties and Carnival did not include any mention of a "Kiss" episode.

Which is verification that there could in fact be *several* more unknown episodes in the vaults.... hmmm....

And now, for the once time honored tradition of guessing songs that will be played.... I'll start:

Billie Holiday - "This Year's Kisses"
