Tell us more about this... Was he on his own or with security?

I'll give you more details as soon as I'm at my computer (in 10-12 hours), I hate writing on my phone. Right now all you should know is that the concert was fantastic. I've never seen Mr Dylan in such a good mood. He seemed really happy.

Yeah another polished up performance last night. At least there's a little room instrumentally. High Water continues to really set a high bar for most of the other songs. If I had to rate 'em.

Here are the details. Since he's not there anymore, I think I can tell you the exact place where it happened.

If you already heard this story from me yesterday, you are free to ignore this post ;)

I need to give you some information on the situation in general, so you get a better picture of how everything looked.

I was with my boyfriend who doesn't like Bob Dylan but was wonderful enough to drive me to the concert. We got lost on the way to our hotel. We were driving around Kosice for hours. He was mad at me for not bringing any maps (I forgot, but then again if I had a map, I wouldn't have this story to tell). We only had a piece of map from booking.com which I was trying to read. The light inside the car was on so I could see better. We were driving really slowly because the hotel had to be somewhere in the neighbourhood. Just before I saw Mr Dylan, I spotted our hotel, but it was in a one-way street and we couldn't turn onto it.

It was around 10.30 p.m., Rooseveltova Street. It was dark but there were street lights. The street is very narrow, it was almost empty, I think our car was the only one there, except for some parked ones. As soon as I pointed at our hotel, I looked at the street in front of us and there was somebody crossing it. At that point I could only see the outlines of that person and I noticed a ridiculously big hood. It took me two or three seconds before I realized what it means :) He was walking in our direction, on the pavement next to us (my boyfriend stopped the car to find a way to get to the hotel) and as he was getting closer I was trying to take a peek under the hood to make sure. I didn't have to. When he was passing us, he looked straight at the car and I could see his face clearly. Then somebody caught up with him. I think it was Barron, but I can't be sure because of the shock :) I can't even remember what Mr Dylan was wearing. He was definitely in a grey hoodie but I think he was also in a jacket.

Forgetting that the light in the car was on and I was visible outside, I think I made the stupidest face and started screaming to my boyfriend that I just saw Bob Dylan. Unfortunately, we had to turn around and it must have looked like we were following him. As we went past him, he was still on the same side of the street. My boyfriend asked if I want him to stop the car so I can get out and try to talk to him. I said no. We got to the hotel, parked the car and we needed an ATM. As it happens, the nearest was in Rooseveltova Street. We walked there and we saw him again, crossing the street to get to the same side of the street that he was on before :) Which means he must have been on the other side for a while, when we didn't see him. And that was it.

What else would you like to know about the incredible event? :) I've already heard some really weird questions ("Did he look like a human being or like a god?"), I'd love to hear more.

I'll be happy to write something about the concert itself but I need to get some shopping done first :)

Thank you for the story, Kiga, that was sweet. I would have probably had the exact same reaction - freak out but be too stunned and apprehensive to actually approach him  I am sure he appreciated being left to enjoy his walk.

Great story!

I like the idea of giving Bob a chuckle if I had the opportunity.
I would have shouted from the window, "omigosh honey, look, it's Frank Sinatra!"
