?

I like to see the Dylan news separately from the other links.
Thanks, Karl Erik!

I like it, lots of subtle improvement over the years and I concur with the way the stories are 'ranked,' with non-dylan stuff often listed higher than less significant dylan-related stuff, depending.

hmm. :) well, it is more organized- But I don't like it as well, because one of the things that's always been interesting on this site is that so much of any music-related news seems to, in some way, relate to the Dylan persona. And it's always fun to discover the links, scattered among the direct references- they're like a paying of homage to his gifts.

(The preference could be similar to how some children like to be handed a big, ready to eat chocolate rabbit, & some would rather discover different filled eggs everywhere themselves.)

I like it because it's more logical and makes perfectly good sense. Plus there's more links, at least right now there's lots.

that's the thing though- think of one of those men's polyester hair helmets with every strand in place, completely predictable- then think on Bob Dylan's fantastic wild hair- a new discovery with every thought

Yeah but as the fans for US to make these new discoveries and better appreciate his Dylan-ness we had best be on our toes and approach it methodically, it's such a tough subject, with all the help we can get, otherwise we'll just get hopelessly confused.

Here's a surprise: I have been structuring the links like this for a long time, but only yesterday decided to make it plain in the layout also.

It should be noted that a story in one section often has ties to the other sections anyway, so this will never work 100%.

Thanks for the feedback! I hope to deploy other, subtle improvements as we go along.

I also like it a lot better this way - much easier to find the stories/songs you want to read/hear - well done!

Agreed - you could always sense the logic of how the links were arranged, and they always made sense to me.

I like the stealthy tone of this..."You will not know what has happened until it is too late to stop my brilliant plan, Mr Bond..."

that's perfect! Because Karl Eric does seem like a mythic character, sort of hovering over and through the site, like a secret spy for the UN, special operations factor.

Has he ever really been seen, and if so, does he look like his avatar, and how does he like his martinis. Was he the first Bob Dylan fan to work undercover, and under what mysterious circumstances did he choose to accept his mission impossible?

He's just a front for BOB DYLAN INC.

Oops! Did I say that out loud?
