Since they use the "Superman" picture in the ad for the exhibition this seems to be the group of works shown at the Halcyon in 2013/2014. They were great, hope there will be a proper catalog.

If they want to sell these, they'd better make catalogues more easily availabe than they were last fall. Plus we'll hopefully get a new Face Value catalogue from the exhibition in Denmark.

Btw, this quote is.... special.

Quote:
In 1965 Bob Dylan picked up an electric guitar and changed the face of rock and roll music forever. In 2014 he challenges our perception of him as an artist.

I'm looking forward to seeing these. I enjoyed them very much at the Halcyon Gallery last year (ah, those dear Albert Hall days). I'll report back when I've had a look.

I like his other paintings better, but am looking forward to your report. Please let us know about any new publications, too.

And yes, yes, the times we've known... :)

Oh! Interesting. I'll try to gt there too. Was in Birmingham a couple of weeks ago I enjoyed the main City Art Gallery. I arrived with in 3 minutes of the start of Pre-Raphaelite talk, so I did that for £3.00. Took me right back to my dissertation!

I enjoyed the Photorealism exhibition:

I also saw the Halcyon gallery exhibition. Meet up?

I think I have a bit more news of the Revisionist art exhibitions in the UK right now.
I was out in Central London last night and passed a gallery with 2 or 3 of them and also numbered limited edition signed prints. I wasn't expecting to see them, so I asked a million questions!
It seems Castle Galleries are a big high street gallery chain. They have lots of galleries all over the country... and they all have the revisionist art pieces.
I bought a copy of a brochure for £10.00.
Its the same brochure for all the galleries in the chain...I went to the one in St Christophers Place but there may be one nearby....
