I don't know if it's hearing Bob sing it....although, how can I divorce
Bob's songs from Bob's voice when I'm thinking about the songs? I can't.

And i disagree with the premise of this thread... I don't think Bob has ANY bad rhymes.

Have to listen to Bob singing to truly appreciate (the lines).

Even if you can almost predict every rhyme, the first time you hear Highlands you're on the edge of your seat to see if the expectation will be fulfilled.

My pick has to be Winterlude/Dude .

Literally the only reason I opened this thread was to post these lyrics. Just cringe worthy.

He's gone with the winterlude/dude rhyme because it's funny. It's a pretty song, light hearted, bit sly, very nice.

I think 'no time to think' is his strongest song, lyrically.

Alouette - Yeah, I'm going slightly offtopic, but I actually prefer Journey Through Dark Heat to the song it's most compared to, Like A Rollin' Stone. Street Legal is desperately underrated (though it twice got 5 stars in Q Magazine), and I view it as a top-tier album; I don't know of any other Dylan album which is as strong on its opening and closing songs.

Street Legal is one of my most listened to albums. I adore it from start to finish.
