Also , i don't mean to sound ungrateful , but am i right in thinking that all these can't be really lossless ?
Someone recorded them from their radio. Will there be any difference from the mp3s posted here?

Answers are yes & I don't know respectively. I just looked at the info of the mp3 from ttrharchives.org for the first track of the first episode - bit rate is just 160 kbps and it's in 'Joint Stereo'.

The biggest difference is whether the shows were recorded from satellite reception, or via the online service. Online sounds much better, especially the 128 kbps service (the premium service at that time). From online you get normal, wide stereo separation and a much clearer sound. From satellite, it is much more compressed, and the stereo almost sounds mono and the sound is reminiscent of a radio in a garbage can with a lid on it. Personally, I recorded all the shows for myself from the online premium service, preserved them as WAV files, as I recorded them, and burned them onto 6 Blu-Ray discs. That's how I listen to the show. For a lot of the real old stuff he plays, that's in mono and poorly recorded anyway, but he played a lot of more recent, good stereo, quality-recorded things too -- and that's where the online recording makes a big difference.

I originally uploaded the torrent to Demonoid, and like it says in the description, it's lossless in the sense that there was no lossy conversion after the original capture. Coming from radio, it will never be completely lossless, but this was recorded to WAV then converted to FLAC. Until there is an official release, it's about as high quality as you can get.

Dis you record initially from the 128 KB online transmission, or from the satellite transmission? And, if via online, are there all sorts of snaps, crackles, and pops, which their online stuff always seemed to have, so that one had to record multiple programs and edit so as to substitute the good parts of one into the bad parts of another? (That's what I had to do, and it worked out well, but was very time consuming.) Also, do you have the original endings, all through the credits, including the announcement of the next week's show .... for each?

I did not record those. They were posted at HC, someone had recorded both the satellite transmission as well as the internet feed and posted them both. The ones I posted were from satellite. I just gathered all the individual torrents and posted them in 3 individual seasons for easier downloading.

Would you be kind enough to re-post these? Or let me know where I can find them? FLAC would be the best for me.
