The times the gave you Dylan art prints cheap on posters and postcards seem to be long gone. I remember the first exhibition he had at Chemnitz, they had nice large posters... at 3 € a piece. It was only after that they started selling that gazillion of signed limited edition prints.

Yes, and the set of postcards from Drawn Blank 2008 is now selling for very high prices - I think in 2008 you could only buy them in one place (Croyden, The Lightbox) but I could be wrong about that. They certainly weren't available at places like Halcyon Gallery and I don't think many people got hold of them.

Incidentally, if you pre-ordered the Face Value book when it was first on amazon, it was available for £16.75, which is what they're still saying my copy from them will cost this week. I shall keep it as a spare! :P

Yes, the book includes an interview between John Elderfield and Dylan, with some interesting points. Dylan is at pains to emphasise throughout that his paintings/pictures are completely separate to his songs, and links shouldn't be made. There are some very typically Dylan responses to Elderfield's questions, especially when they're about motivation/methods - both ambiguous and penetrating at the same time! Sorry, I don't have the book in front of me, or I would give some examples! It's a very nicely-presented book, with examples of works from The Brazil Series and Asia Series as well, and some nice (tho' not new) photos of Bob.

Thanks. I ordered mine from ISIS, so I should have it next week. I'm still surprised there was no book for The New Orleans Series.

Went to see them today. They're very impressive all together and in the flesh (so to speak). Lots of people there too.

Got a link where one can buy posters and/or more expensive prints? Thanks. :)

Prints are here:
http://www.bobdylanart.com

This is where the first exhibition was - don't think they'll have posters available after all these years?
