I don't speak Spanish so I need to post this in English.

Longtime members jcastro and chambre will be moderating this forum for our Spanish speaking members. For those of you who speak Spanish and are timid about posting, hopefully you'll find a home here.

Good luck with the new forum!

what about swedish?

(People from the) North Country.

Not that i feel the need to speak swedish here, I just felt slightly discriminated for a wee second. Which also passed.

Don't feel badly. We knew someone would say that. If there is a need, KE has agreed to other languages but I think he said he wants at least 10 people participating in order to justify setting up another forum. It doesn't happen by magic.

No, it's good that they won't need to use a translating program any longer. That would drive me nuts, too.

I was actually talking about your OP, which said something like "I don't know spanish so I have to type this in english". Haha.

This is a open idea to other languages ... please don't feel offended.

A wonderful idea! And a great opportunity for me to brush off my very dusty Spanish. Let's hope other "Language Zones" will follow. I'm all in for Norwegian and Hindi.

Agreed! It's a wonderful idea. I've seen many forums with language zones.
A Norwegian/Scandinavian zone would be nice too! :P

Anyways, quoting BABF, felicitaciones to jcastro e chambre! 8)

Great idea, will it be OK though to respond to the Spanish post in English ? It wouldn't diminish the conviviality I guess and open the door to people who maybe understand Spanish but do not speak or write it properly :?:

I am far from comfortable with this new section... in fact, I am rather upset and annoyed about it... how will I know if so-called Spanish folk are being disrespectful towards me?

I have no objections to Spanish folk, per se... matadors having their own section... but surely they should be made to post in English... this is Spanish correctness gone mad!
