 ......so soon after your last :?

I understand that this is done to prevent spamming. Not sure how. But sometimes you know, you're feeling good, you're on a roll and.....BAMMM!!!
your trigger finger is paralyzed and you suddenly are under Big Brother's control!!! And you have to wait......and wait.......and wait......and wait And while you wait, you get so anxious...... you know you should wait a little longer....but you can't help yourself because you're afraid that some one will post in 'Word Association' before you thus blowing your brilliant stream of consciousness so you press that big throbbing submit button and up flashes........"you cannot make a post so soon after your last......

I would like to suggest that after a certain number of posts say, 1,000, 1,500, and you are well know this annoyance could be suspended. Or maybe for titaniumers

I find the wait beneficial. Gives me time to do that "90-second relaxation" thing.

It might be a nice feature for titanium members "in good standing"...something that could also be taken away for misbehavior*. I'm not sure that it's stopped me from saying something stupid - I'll just keep writing and make it stupider, but it has irritated me.

*I know the mods continually complain of not having enough to do.

i sometimes don't care, but other times it can really piss me off. like in the "word association" thread you said, and "dylan lyrics conversation"
but other times it can make you read what you put and edit it.
I do agree on the certain number of posts thing, that would be pretty cool.

That's a big statement to make... we should not dismiss time so nonchalantly... time is relative, and as such, per se, 90 seconds may not be a long time, but, avec toot, relatively speaking, 90 seconds may also be a long time... it's all relative.

I am getting fed up pointing out to lot's of different folk that time is relative and therefore should not be dismissed... I really do wonder if so-called folk actually listen!

Let me put your mind at rest, Mr Boy: so-called folk NEVER actually listen ... to anything. :o

I listen and I agree with both your posts , but the fact remains that usually it is just a short time you have to wait. I normally use that time to think about Bob , so it is not wasted time.
