So, while listening to the "Christian Trilogy" by Bob, I was thinking about what other albums might work as trilogies for Bob.
I think Freewheelin, Times, and Another Side work as a good trilogy.
BIABH, H61, and BoB work as a trilogy for me.
PW-BOTT-Desire work
Any others?

Hold on! I dont agree. I feel Before the flood and hard rain should be grouped together... Has anyone ever wondered if they were named Before the Flood, followed by Hard Rain on purpose? You know, the rains in the forecast, then its coming down?

he should make another live album called 'apres la deluge' after the great Rimbaud poem. It would complete the trilogy anyway. In all seriousness though, i think 'Before the flood' was actually a tip of the hat to that Rimbaud poem, so i guess he wont.:P

Yes, that had occured to me and is very funny. I don't think they belong together though.

I think they belong in the trilogy that reflects the transience of live inspiration as it partly manifests, fully flowers, and then is half-abandoned:
Before The Flood, Hard Rain, Bob Dylan At Budokan
