I wanted to add something from TTL, but it's obvious the entire album is underrated, so it would be a very difficult survey were I to do so. The ones listed seem to be hated by many on this site. I'm just not sure why. Though I think all three are underrated. My vote is none of your business.

This is also a test to assess the quality and validity of ER polling procedures.... 8)

I just listened to TTL again yesterday and enjoyed it, though it was raining out, and I was driving.

I remember when I first bought it and I really only enjoyed I Feel A Change Comin' On, but then I saw him perform Forgetful Heart in NYC that year and it made me look once again at that song and kind of look down on Change, because he did play them both that night (He also played It's All Good, which I didn't enjoy til later).

Anyway, I realize that is unrelated to the thread, but there it is.

Mississipi only 14 % - can't believe it ! Or may be it is not really underrated but already regarded as a masterpiece ? :?

What have the Poles got to do with anything? In my experience they are very nice people.

Still not having warmed up to ModBob I guess I never paid enough attention to Workingman's Blues, because I fell in love with this song just today! Oh it's great!

Isn't it always great when you fall in love with another Dylan song? I fell in love with workingman's blues about a year ago . It's fantastic! :)

the poll is a response to the overrated poll posted earlier. i wanted to prove it null and void. it seems Working Man Blues will win most Overrated and Underrated. Indicating that ER has some work to do...

and EVERYBODY loves Mississippi it seems. How nice of Bob to play to the crowd with that one last year....

It kinda makes sense that the same one would win both polls.

The mere fact that you made this thread would indicate something too. I'm not saying your an assclown, but your definitely somewhere between a snot and an assclown.

Says the man who made a " most overrated ModBod song " thread as if to prove all that he knows what other people don't . Go make a " most overrated modern Tom Waits song " pole at a Tom Waits forum or any other artist's forum for that matter and everybody will start swearing at you .
So lay off troubadour 8)

Under-rated? Cold Irons Bound won a Grammy as I recall... and Mississippi in all its incarnations is wonderful and deeply appreciated... which I guess leaves Workingman Blues (of the three in the poll) as the most under-rated but it "wins" by default.

Can't Wait (the TOOM version)

I almost never hear anybody rave about it. I love it though.

Trev's had her. In the most delightful way.*

*I'd like to apologise for this ribald indiscretion, and urge other forum users not to make ill judged remarks about Dick Van Dyke, and helping the medicine go down.

- i voted for Workingman's Blues...it seems like i've read more disparaging remarks
about that song than about Mississippi or Cold Irons Bound, so i would think it's the most
under-rated of the three songs.

They aren't under-rated by me, though...Mississippi and Workingman's Blues are right up
there with my favorite Dylan songs. Cold Irons Bound is very good, too.

Troub...i almost didn't recognize you with the new avatar.
