Montreux is a rich folks' playground, I don't think this compares well to regular shows and audiences.

I agree, but then again, you're basically saying that they are just aiming for the local elite, which is true for high priced shows everywhere, regardless if it's Montreux, Cap Roig, Rio or Las Vegas. The Rio show didn't look particularly empty on YT, so I guess they found enough rich folks there as well. Of course a lot of his less fortunate Brazilian fans couldn't afford the tickets, but the same is true for some of his Euro fans who skip Montreux and Cap Roig because of the ticket prices.

If you're hoping for gigs in the North Country, not on the summer tour. It's complete as it stands now. Sorry.

Ok so I'm on the flight back from Mexico and I overheard this gentleman seated infront of me tell another passenger that he works for Bob and was heading home after a South American tour. And that he's off to Europe in some weeks for another touring leg.

He is a business class passenger and by the sounds of it is pretty legit. Any questions from the rumor mill?
I'm thinking of asking him about what JP mentioned recently... US ball park tour late summer, US tour with MK in the fall.

What do you think?

As long as you don't ask questions about Bob, go for it.

late summer U.S. ballpark tour - currently booking venues, but he could not confirm whether this will be a ballpark tour or not
fall U.S. tour with MK - confirmed

I'm not going to give away his name or what he does. He was a super nice guy, very warm, down to earth and open to questions!
