This here is a handmade vision of Bob, so to speak. It’s the first time ever I attempted to draw him and I have to say, I’ve never put so much effort into a drawing. I feel like my head is about to explode, because I stayed up all night to finish it. It really is something quite special for me.

Having said that, I’d like to dedicate this work to someone I met exactly six months ago at a Dylan show. We got along so well in the beginning and had so much fun, and then I screwed everything up because … well, because I was an absolute idiot. I acted like a total jackass to her, not because I didn’t like her, but because I liked her just way more than I should have. I know she can’t forgive me, but, if she reads this, I would like her to know that I’m really sorry for my stupid behavior, and that I, that I miss her and all the fun we had before I ruined it all. So, yeah, this pic is for her.

oh, I love this. You really captured his jaw, it's one of the things I've noticed that lots of people mess up, but you got it. and the hair! Very cool.

What an awesome drawing! :D I would be very proud Xraylroad! I hope that situation works itself out some day; sometimes people come back into your lives when you least expect them and everything is okay. You're not an idiot; I would imagine that almost everbody on this forum has done something stupid because of love or attraction. I hope she appreciates this picture and you are really gifted! Nice, thanks. Highway 61 Revisited would make sense though, because that's around when he married Sara and Dimestore Medicine is also the bootleg for H61R outtakes.

Actually, I think they were going to do this as a cover for Tarantula, when it was still supposed to come out in the mid-'60s, but decided against using this photo because it was so similar to the one used as the cover of BIABH with Sally Grossman.
