There was some speculation here that Paul McCartney may have been around.

The only weird bit about it is that it took so long to be reported.
Good one, Bob! :D

Actually, Carolina mentioned it soon after the concert:

A facebook friend from Porto Alegre said that bob introduced his Band singing some "Hey Jude" verses!

se eu não me engano foi "Then You Begin to Make It Better", e quando eu me dei conta eu olhei pra minha amiga com uma cara de espanto e ela "SÓ AGORA QUE TU NOTOU?"

Note: Paul Mccartney was around. He would play at Florianopolis (a city near Porto Alegre, if you consider how big Brasil is) on the next day

Maybe Sir P. McC. was in the audience (mutual appreciation society).

Yes, Carolina posted about Hey Jude after the show and someone posted an mp3 the following day on Tumblr.

Reminds me of the "Yesterday" snippet in Liverpool 1996.

Yep.

Whilst on, and sorry to hijack this, but can anyone point me towards the show when Bob mistakenly sang a verse of one song inside another song?? I think it may have been TUIB and Simple Twist, but not sure. It may have also been TOTM.........There was a thread on this some time ago..but can't find it :(

Okay, I missed it....

As for mixing up two different songs, check Thunder On The Mountain from Chatillon '08, contains a full verse of Summer Days.

^ If it hasn't already happened, it would be good to have a TUIB/Simple twist mix-up. The melodies are similar.

I think there were a few incidents involving Ain't Me Babe and another similar song, sometime in the '90s.
