Once things start moving towards the spring tour, I'm sure there'll be more....

I'd rather they move the album release forward than the tour back.

Would be nice to have a new album to boost the tour though!

Yes, that's what I said. I mean, the album is recorded and all, they just need to release it.

Why exactly? The guy has been playing everywhere forever. Would it really matter if he took a break?

What is the point of "whatever you do....don't stop."

His voice is almost completely gone. The guy needs a break.

I don't think Bob will consult any single one of us about the things he will do.

For the record, I never said, "whatever you do....don't stop."
So let's keep that straight.
I expect nothing of Mr. D.
The only thing that matters is what Bob thinks matters, not you or me.
His priority is to tour and it is his choice whether or not to stop or take a break.
Power to him! What harm is it to you? As long as he tours, I will support him and go catch as many shows as I can. That's all I'm saying.

As long as the tour is not any further affected by the album.

New album = nice.
New song on the tour = nice too

BUT

We need better setlists but It will be like the last years. The same 40-50 songs with 1-2- new ones on some shows.

A good change would be at least the ommission of Leopard, Tangled, Tweedle Thunder, Thin man, (LARS !!!!!!please we had many legs without this song!), Blowin in the wind (Please no more same as LARS).
AATW can stay if it's played harder and better than the renditios last years.

Like a Rolling Stone IS the number one song... Ever. He wrote it ..he performed it.. he SCREAMED into a microphone while being booed for going electric.. why would he EVER stop playing that song for us? are you NUTS? personally.. i well up with utmost joy when he plays it at the end of a show. Its bittersweet because i know its the end..but wow.. what a way to go home..... with that feeling :D

Because he didn't play it most 1992, 1993 (1 timer) , 1994, many 1995-1999 and even some 2008 shows
The song is great but it is played to death. I've seen it 100 times during the Net. There was only one great rendition (Villa Manin, Passariano) and perhaps 5-10 good ones.

By the way LARS was NEVER a number one hit in 1965 (except one time for the Cashbox magazine charts but this is another story)
His number one song is still Knockin' on heaven's door! when was the last time regulary? 2003? I don't want to hear that every time too, but it would be a change

I had the wow feeling for the end every night for "It ain't me Babe 1992-1995" and not for a boring rendition of LARS.

Absolutely right it's time to skip LARS for a longer while! I can count the great versions during the NET on one hand.
All others went lost in the mist of flipping, screaming, singing, drunken pushing people who gets made when he starts the song.

Still one of his best songs but live very rarely well played.

But Thunder, Tangled, BITW, H61 andTweedle are much worse.
I don't mind LARS if the other songs are thrown out.

I also agree about AATW but since 2008 it was everytime very disapointing. He can do it much better!

It Ain't me babe (Acoustic) was the best closer ever!

I will take whatever he sends our way for the simple reason that we can't change it.
I take pleasure in any new arrangement of any song, especially if improvised jamming is allowed (rare). I try not to get hung up on the actual set list itself since it really doesn't tell the story. That said, if the above tunes(including Rolling Stone) were never played again I would not lose one wink of sleep. I choose to accept that it is what it is.
