Good selection. Cropping out Stu would make it complete. SirrDogg has a valid point about the font, too.

Really hoping for additional dates along the South American run. Might be tapped out though.

I would say Santiago is a great position to head off to New Zealand from, but he was just there in April 2011. Not sure if he filled the venue there or the ones played in Aussie-land. If it was profitable for the promoters, it could happen again, I suppose. Then they could head towards Europe (via Bangladesh?)...

Those are decent numbers Mr.'94. You are good at pulling those together. If I was part of 'Dylan, Inc.' I would seriously consider a return trip to Aussie Zealand. Some of those venues are large by today's Dylan standards and sales looked pretty good. Grab that market while it is attentive. I don't think it's saturated after just a year's time. I'll bet 'Tell Me Momma' would be in favor.

Nice to see he is still putting the Spring Tour together :)

Here's hoping for some great news concerning the rest of
the year in March :)

I'd love to see him come back so soon, ditching the giant arenas for 2/3/4/5 night runs in mid/large theatres across the country that'd sell out, but the model hasn't changed for Dylan's Australian tours much in the past 25 years. Big shows in crappy venues every 3-5 years. Can't see it being the preferred way of touring for Bob, but he hasn't changed promoters in Australia in this period, and he's known to just offer large take-it-or-leave it offers to major touring artists when he chooses.

Bob's preferred way of touring is to play whatever show that promises to be profitable. As for Austrlia, the people are there for Bob, but the prices are considerably lower than in most European markets, and the expenses of touring Australia are much higher.

Don't hold your breath for another Oz tour in the next couple of years.

I think it's pretty certain that he'll just to S. America (plus maybe a couple US warm-ups) and then head back. He's not gonna do S. America, Australia and Europe all in one go. Except for the Fastbreak tours (and those were very short), he's never really done that, afaicr.

a really long June to August tour, which seems unlikely after 50+ shows in Europe in '11.

A four week tour concentrating on markets left out in '11 seems like the safest bet for the time being.

How do 44 dates add up to 50+?

Usually, European summer tours seem to be build around two or three festival, with lots of non-festival, Bob-only concerts between them.

It was more like 44 mini-shows. :?

That is probably realistic, but you never know...

Any new speculation on plans for May as the last date is 30 Apr? :)

Just found this:

Probably April 30 and was misinformed, but just in case:

Tuesday 01 May 2012 Santiago, Chile Movistar Arena

Either misinformed or perhaps wishful thinking for a two-night stand in Santiago (or "Santiage" as the ER front page lists it)?
