My suggestion would be to cut Like A Rolling Stone out of every setlist, as well as a good amount of 60s material. He just does his modern songs so well these days!

I'm good with that. Put it on the shelf next to Stairway To Heaven, Smoke On The Water, Dream On, Won't Get Fooled Again, Cocaine, Free Bird and the extensive menagerie of all the other overplayed hits. It's a great song, just have heard it enough for a couple of lifetimes. Good call Ransom.

I may be going out on a limb here but I'm predicting not a single surprise or rare tune and set lists that look just like Euro fall 2011 tour.

Stairway To Heaven
Smoke On The Water
Dream On
Won't Get Fooled Again
Cocaine
Free Bird

If Bob were to do these in the same setlist... the Earth may tumble off its axis but what a way to go!

Why try? These people are going to be happy just to see him return.

No doubt. What a concept!
That would generate some discussion.

True for the Spring tour. Possibly a new song here or there.

Older songs, but ones he hasn't done or done in quite awhile.

That's what I think will happen, too. There were a lotta surprises on the European spring 2009 tour. Just a couple on the summer 2009 ball park tour ("Not Fade Away" & "Heartbreak Hotel"). For fall 2009, he added "Gonna Change My Way of Thinking." Been nothing new since.

Which was part of the reason for this statement on the ER index page (along with the fact that it was that year's European Leg opener show):
"Most users ever online was 267 on Sun March 22nd, 2009, 17:05 GMT"

Let's hope for another one of those deals.
