It appears Bob will be tour in South America in mid April. To fire the tour up, renew enthusiasm and interest, promote world peace and put an end to global hunger, I humbly offer a setlist for consideration.

Dirt Road Blues
I Threw It All Away
Born In Time
Just Like Tom Thumb’s Blues
Gotta Serve Somebody
Red River Shore

Solo Acoustic Set
One Too Many Mornings
When the Ship Comes In
He Went to Paris
(Jimmy Buffet cover)

Acoustic with Band
My Back Pages
Po’ Boy
Girl From the North Country
Forgetful Heart

Is Your Love In Vain?
Under You Spell
Lily, Rosemary, and the Jack of Hearts
Satisfaction
(Rolling Stones cover)
Thunder On the Mountain

Mr. Tambourine Man
All Along the Watchtower
Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door
(with Stu & Charlie doing harmony vocals)

Anyone else have a recommendation for the setlists?

I threw in a couple of covers... he blew those out of the water in 2002 so I figure he could do it again. :D

Angelina would be the obvious choice, no?

He'll open with Gonna Change

Yes, BV's would work nice.

I wonder about Mississippi.

Hope he keeps Simple Twist & Forever Young as his voice has been on fire with those 2 :)

When the NET gets rolling anything can happen and all bets are off... this is the Hope Springs Eternal tour.

I have it on good authority that Angelina is being rolled out the second night of the tour... I can hardly wait!

That's a very interesting list. I'd like to hear Someday Baby.

IT'S WOODY'S 100TH BIRTHDAY!

He should play some Woody's covers and, of course, 'Song To Woody'.

Other songs I'd love are: Born In Time, which is an amazing song (but UTRS version sucks), Gotta Serve Somebody, When the Ship Comes In, Chimes Of Freedom, My Back Pages, Nettie Moore, Can't Wait, Not Dark Yet, Visions of Johanna.

He should open with 'Gonna Change My Way Of Thinking', 'Maggie's Farm' or 'Cat's in The Well'

Yeah, some Woody covers would be great! Maybe "Do Re Mi" as it was so good at the People's Speak thing in '09.
And he should definitely open with "Gonna Change My Way of Thinking". Although, my recent listening to some 2004/2005 shows makes me think it might be time to return to opening with "To Be Alone With You" or "Drifter's Escape".

John Wesley Harding as the opener.

Then he needs to work in Sign on the Window somewhere.

I would really love more acoustic stuff from the band this year, Do Re Mi in '09 and The Times in the white house in '10 were great..

but if bob decides to keep the things like last year, to me the best setlist would be:

1.Gonna change my way of thinking
2.To Ramona
3.I'll be your babe tonight
4.Tangled up in blue
5.Blind willie mctell
6.Honest with me
7. Summer Days
8.Forgetful Heart
9. Hollis Brown
10. spirit on the water
11. High Water
12. Hattie Carrol/ Desolation Row
13. Beyond Hear lies nothin'
14. simple twist
15. Thounder on the mountain
16. Thin Man
encore

17. Jolene
18. Like a rolling stone

The odds of this are much higher, especially if you hit 3 or 5 shows in a row, which I highly recommend that you do! Good luck!

This is NOT a gambling website... it is a fan forum. Highjacking a thread concerning Never Ending Tour setlists to talk about gambling is unconscionable! Please refrain.

That is the spirit. Keep those vibes out there. Odds are in your favor that a slice of it just might make it through.
