Exiting news on the front page today:

"Bob Dylan will be performing with band on Thursday, January 12, on the VH1 Critics' Choice Movie Awards during the segment honoring Martin Scorsese. The show airs live 8PM Eastern on VH1. from NN"

Not so unexpected as he's given similar performances in 2010 and 2011, but still very good news. I couldn't find any other information on the interwebs about this at all. Anyone?

I'm liking these TV appearances at the start of every year recently!

I guessed Ballad of a Thin Man too, just because they've got that one so tight. (Could also be said for Things Have Changed/Tangled)

Hope it's his whole band as well, there hasn't been a proffesional video of the current line up as far as i'm aware!

Well, we all knew Bennyboy's stance on this revelation before he even came in the door.

I think it's interesting that he's made television appearances in the early months of every year for the past 4, including this one.

In what way is that interesting? He usually doesnt start touring till March, so it fits his schedule and puts him in front of people before he hits the road.....

That he's accepting offers to perform on television. In retrospect, it's not a rarity for him, but it's nice to look forward to in these grueling winter months, where television leaves a lot to be desired.
