Is there any kind soul who'd be willing to put together a 2011 compilation? I'd do one but have no ability at all with audio files, and the volumes etc. would be mismatched. I think there's an incredible set of fantastic versions waiting to be compiled!

Something along the lines of belleseb32's 2003 comp. but for 2011... That would be sweet. And would begin with the first song of the year from Taiwan, Gotta Serve Somebody.

There are two compilations, that were posted here:
2011 See Europe in 17 days
2011 The Golden Rule (Asia)

Both compilations content material from spring up to summer. The fall-shows were not used for these compilations.
But as I far as I can read here, most people seem to prefer the performances from the first half of the year., so perhaps they are the compilations you are looking for.
I myself think, the performances during the MK/BD-tour - beginning with the Paris- or the Antwerpen-show up to the three Hammersmith-nights - are more interesting (and btw the by some people most loved "Forever young" from that period may be special, but is surely not a too good version, other songs were performed more interesting, with much more fire and much more feeling). Maybe some people may stone me because of this opinion, but for me it's the truth!
And because people judge very different over the two 2011-tours, it seems to be impossible to compile something like a "Best of 2011"

I think Hamburg 1st show (26th June) is a must have due to the recording is 10/10 and the performance is very close to that aswell. Bob was on fire that evening.

Thanks HopE for the tip-off. I found the compilation 'The Golden Rule' and sure enough it was produced by belleseb32. Looking forward to listening to this as his/her other single disc comps have been fantastic. The 2003 one in particular has seen very heavy rotation.

Ballad Of Hollis Brown, Odense 2011, is one of the great performance of 2011 for me.

It is some kind of funny word play right? As good as I'm I can't understand it. And it's missing from my dictionary and google gives back meaning that don't make it funny. Can somebody nice please explain?
