Thanks for that, good read. Unfortunately, with Charlie cited as being involved in 2 non Dylan production roles in February alone, can't help but feel that reduces greatly the chances of any new Bob album being worked on right now unless he went straight in after completing the most recent assignment from which he is photographed in situ on Feb 20th (last Wed....) With Bob resuming touring in less than a month, the clock is ticking...

Enjoyable Charlie quote from the article linked above:

A decade later, Bowie got back in touch, asking Sexton if he’d consider joining his band for a tour. Problem was, Sexton had just signed on for his first tour as Dylan’s guitarist. Bless life, indeed.

I vividly remember being in West Palm Beach, Fla., learning Stanley Brothers, Louvin Brothers and all these hillbilly gospel songs (for the Dylan tour), which are great,” he says. “And then I get the call: ‘David wants you to come do a tour.’ It’s like driving a tractor in the fields of Kansas and a spaceship lands and they go, ‘Hey, you wanna come with us?’

Sexton stuck with Dylan, whose songs were “my nursery rhymes” since his toddler days in San Antonio, he says.

Something like Love and Theft was recorded in a week wasnt it? If the songs were ready to go Bob doesnt normally spend long in the studio.

But weve had three rumours of Bob being in the studio in the last year... sometime it will be actually be true
