My friend goes to Belmont Universary and they own Columbia Studio A in Nashville so I got to see where part of Blonde On Blonde, John Wesley Harding, Nashville Skyline, and part of Self Portrait was recorded and I just wanted to share

That’s fun. Thanks for sharing.
I wonder what is still original in the room at this point.
Any observations to share? Feelings being there?

It was super cool being where bob recorded a lot of his greatest songs. No idea if it’s the original room now. Belmont University uses it as a class room, my friend has one of her classes in it now. Only Belmont students can use it now. I just really enjoyed being in a room that so many greats have been in.

My friend wants me to record some harmonica in that room someday so I will hopefully get to go inside the studio and take more pictures

Most of BoB was there, right ? IIRC, there's like one New York cut on that album.

One Of Us Must Know (Sooner Or Later) was recorded in New York and it looks like that’s it

Wow I had no idea that was at Belmont! I have a friend who goes there and I just visited last October. Wish I had spent more time exploring and would have seen that studio! Thanks for sharing the pics.

A great article. Thanks for the link.
The article mentions that the "renovation" of the studio has been completed, but also says that it#s a 70-ies style studio. So I guess a lot of the original interior is still there.
Must be great to visit this place.

The only way you could access it is if you know a student that has a class in that building
