Thanks Maxwinner, great to have all the 1966 footage gathered together in one video.

grr, I can't get this to download. I can get about halfway done and then it just stalls before it gives me an error message. Anyone want to post this to a different sharing site or create a torrent?

I watched this fan cut through and found a few issues with it:
- The sound levels are very inconsistent thoughout, most of the sound is very low or inaudible even, other parts suddenly sound overcooked.
- Some of the footage appears twice, e.g. Visions of Johanna, some even 3 times, like the after show audience comments and Dylan's after show exit.
- Some unrelated footage of trains with a 1965 studio track really doesn't belong here.
- Same with footage taken from Dont Look Back.
- Footage of inferior picture quality would look better if presented reduced in a frame, e.g. Just like a woman.
- The raw Lennon taxi outtake footage exists in slightly better quality. Because of the poor colour is could be better presented in b/w.
- The partial footage of Mr. Tambourine Man seen at the end of the I'm Not There movie is missing. Also not all of the Eat The Document footage is included.

An original idea never tried is to edit all of the available 1966 footage chronologically. That would make a terrific 1966 film.

you got alot of nerve

nah just kiddin'

sorry, i dissapointed you its hard to keep track of all the footage, if anyone with better editing software wants to chop this up a bit feel free.
i did this in movie maker. which kept c r a s h i n' on me, which is why some footage might appear twice
cause i was too darn-tootin frustrated. i tells ya, to check the entire movie again for repeats just to see it crash with fifteen minutes left.

i hope it didnt bother ya too much.
cuz you know what can happen when a man gets too much of nothin'

i also did a 6 hour dont look back edit, but i guess thats not of any interest.

Doesn’t the train footage appear multiple times in the original? I thought it was a running joke but maybe my copy was defective.

It was a good try and it is appreciated, but a little too many trains ;)
Best of all is that you have inspired someone out there, with better
tools, to collect all that great Dylan 66´stuff, in one place, i´m sure.

I grabbed this last week and enjoyed it (although I've only skipped around to see what's in there). REALLY appreciate the effort and for sharing it.

I really liked the stock footage that went along with "Memphis Blues." It worked really well, IMO. Also, the brief NYC apartment clip - I forgot about that!

I do like the idea of chopping up/expanding ETD. It's like an evolution of the movie. ETD itself was a chop-up of original footage.

Not sure if I've shared it here but I made a remastered ETD last year with mostly improved audio and some video. The video print I used and tried to remaster wasn't very good though. Some songs like I Don't Believe You and One Too Many Mornings are taken from documentaries and are of better quality. But nonetheless..

i tried to make it more of "my movie" than simply a compilation, truth be told, maybe my mind works weird, but all the clips besides the repeats, makes sense. im a fan of scorsese and dylan, i even studied film in both "gymnasium" and "university" both theoretical and practical. (i even met one of my best friends thru film school. so dont expect a non-influenced film, for better or worse i want to take credit for this awful piece of shit i made. i enjoyed makin it considering the programs and stuff i had available. i'd ike to think my effort is very scorsese-esque and dylanesque.
