What's bobs most talkative year?, as in talking during his concert?

But didn't he also talk quite a lot during the 78 tour?

I remember some jibbering between songs in 78, but nothing specific. There was notable chatter in 91/2, which i found to be entertaining..Sometimes we got a story, or why and how a song.was

It seems 1978 was a very talkative year, both on stage and with the media. He seemed to talk freely with the media in 1978 and again c.1985. I have no idea why.

One of his gospel sermons probably has more words than he muttered on all his preceding tours.


Off-stage talking would have to be '85-'86. He did a lot of interviews during that time. I had no idea until seeing them on youtube. I think he was talking talkative pills at the time.

Aside from the Gospel "raps", 1986 would blow the competition out of the water. Except maybe 1978, that year was very talky as well.
