I think his current band, and vocal could do justice
to 'Rise Again'.
It's also the one i'd most like to hear him play live.
How about you?

What about Man Gave Names To All The Animals?

He saw an animal that liked to growl

Big furry paws and he liked to howl

Great big furry back and furry hair

“Ah, think I’ll call it a bear”

He saw an animal up on a hill

Chewing up so much grass until she was filled

He saw milk comin’ out but he didn’t know how

“Ah, think I’ll call it a cow”

"Caribbean Wind". The arrangement used for the "rehearsal with pedal steel" would sound great, played by the current band.

This song is about my hero.. Don't know who your hero is, maybe Bob Dylan? For some people it might be Bono. Anyway, I really care about those people. But this is the all time hero, right here... Right now. See if you can guess who it is.

Did they know He was the Son of God, did they know that He was LORD?

Yes, this would really be great.
This song, and this version, is one of the highlights of the whole collection for me.

Caribbean Wind. Why not in the steel guitar arrangement - it would fit the current set perfectly

I would take anything from BS13 as a gift. Some may need some arrangement work to hit his vocal range but he and his band could pull it off.

Bravo, let's have five or six from the Gospel Era in the set instead of the Sinatra stuff! Yes indeed!

Caribbean Wind, of course. All the other stuff has either been performed during the NET or is more or less irrelevant (at least in comparison with Caribbean Wind)

I thought about 'Caribbean Wind' but i'm not sure he could do it
justice nowadays, unless he drastically rearranged it, but that's
what he's good at so yeah i'd like to hear it attempted.
I'm still saying 'Rise Again', i really do think he could drop a few
of the Sinatra songs now, he's given them a good airing since
2015 and he could be promoting B13 with 'Rise Again', or
'When He Returns', or maybe 'What Can I Do For You'.

Or "When You Gonna Wake Up". Imagine hearing that with the gravelly voice!

He played it as recently as 2012, so it wouldn't be as big a shock as some of the others mentioned in this thread.

Check it out, courtesy of notdarkyet's terrific site. It's a nice enough rendition. http://www.notdarkyet.org/120829grace.mp3

Yes, the recent live 'Saving Grace' was well executed.
I think any of those slower numbers from Slow Train / Saved
would work. 'What Can I Do For You' could work.
'When He Returns' could work, A Satisfied Mind.
But when it comes to Shot Of Love, i really don't think
it belonged as part of this mythic trilogy that's been
imposed upon Dylan.
When Shot Of Love came out Dylan began playing
the none religious tracks again, and yes, i know there's
some spiritual songs on Shot Of Love, but bob says it best
''people talk like its (shot of love) some kind of Methodist album''

He never ever played it in Europe, so let him shock us with this gem in the spring.
[from all the songs he has played in the last two decades or so this one is #1 on my wish list]

He did a great reading of it and i'm sure if he reignited
it to help promote B13 then i think this would be his go-to
track. I'd much prefer ''Rise Again'' given its not been performed
in the NET already and maybe both those songs could replace
a couple of the Sinatra songs.
