In 2006, Bob Dylan released Modern Times. In his autobiographical song Thunder On The Mountain, he confesses that he "sucked the milk out of a thousand cows".
In 2018, Bob still plays this song live. Though the melody changed quite a lot, the lyrics didn't: he still "sucked the milk out of a thousand cows".

We can all agree on Bob being always truthful and precise, so the statements from 2006 and 2018 offer one single mathematical result: 1000-1000=0 or: he hasn't drunk any cow milk in between.

Why do you think this happened? Did he switch to goat's milk? Has he become lactose intolerant? Is he now a vegan? Does he just not like the taste anymore?

We demand answers!

It could just be that he’s still drinking the milk of one or several of the same thousand cows he refers to.

How long does a cow live?

He sucked it out of the cows years ago, but then he spat it all into a storage container from which he has been drinking ever since - a simple and elegant solution to a problem that has probably plagued us all at one time or another.

Perhaps Bob has his own personal cow that forms part of his Neverending Tour entourage. This may seem rather extravagant but I am sure it can be quite difficult ensuring a consistent quality of fresh milk on the road, particularly if one prefers to imbibe direct from the udder.

And the first thing he says to it every morning: "Gimme some milk, or else go home!"

If this was a metaphor? What could it be?

Milk= ?
Cows=?

Whatever it is, a one is too much and a thousand is enough

Almond Milk is more readily available and it contains fewer calories. It also holds up better in the hot weather.

Could Be IBS,

We have A2 milk (here in the UK).

Brilliant stuff for those allergic to milk proteins.

Bob's moved on to whisky I hear.

Aye, definitely don’t want that when you are on stage for two hours.

He's opened up shop in recent years. Whiskey, Ironworks, Promotional Gates, Paintings, and Almond Milk.

Milk is gross anyway. We don't require it, we require water. We've been brainwashed by people who want to make a fortune sucking people into thinking it's needed for health. Lies!

Do you only consume what you 'require'?
