Looking at the list of gigs played per year at the bottom of this site one thing stands out when looking at the number of gigs played per year. Go and have a look and you will see what I mean. What were the reasons for only one or two concerts being played or in a number of instances none at all, when all the other years are fully gigged, so to speak.

So we we know the reasons for each year, at all?

I'd like to know why there aren't more years that he spent off the road. If it was me, you couldn't pay me enough to schlep around the world constantly, especially into my 70's. If I really need to gig I'll buy a theater within driving distance of my home and people can come to me.

I expect you'll find out after he's dead. My surmise is he needed a purpose to keep his sanity. So he became a journeyman. There's some labor of love involved but I don't know to what end.

I keep hoping he'll calm down and just take residency somewhere like LA and NY and then do small shows, like the Supper Club or something.

But something like 50 GREAT shows a year rather than 200 mumblemumblewolfman shows.

Like there's no reason in the world for him to be playing 100k sized audiences.

His family appreciates it. More money for them.
