his guitar playing is virtually perfect.
bravo.

I like to think of this song as a piece full of fury and rage, though, so I have to say the vocal arrangement is not my favourite piece of cake.

he's really good, though.

Yes, his chord fingering was great. Singing I think from a lyrics sheet, not fully memorized.

I agree! A really good version of this really good song. He's obviously a Dylan fan, and also a Cohen fan, his vocals sound very much like early Cohen.
Hey, That's No Way To Say Goodbye for example

Bob's friend, Bobby Vee, in his garage with his 3 sons, recorded a re-imagined live version of The Man In Me in 2011, which is on Bobby's final album, The Adobe Sessions, that was released in 2014. No la la la's.. I can't say for sure, but I would think Bob likes this, even if others would differ. Very soulful and heartfelt and clearly a tribute to his old band mate, as noted in the description below the video. Recorded shortly after his diagnosis with Alzheimer's.

A counterpart to Devo's "Satisfaction"? Mitch Ryder, "Like a Rolling Stone": https://youtu.be/szaI1WsO-6A
I like this version for stripping away the esoteric/literary tone of the words, grounding the song somewhat.

This is amazingly beautiful.
Original but not weird, upside down but not upturned.

Nice discovery.
Thanks for posting.
