Looking forward to this as I think the gospel period has a lot to recommend it. I just hope it's reasonably priced!

Believe me, I won't have to eat it...

Still nothing.
This is the only glimpse of light, the only ray of hope in my lonely, gloomy and miserable life. The only thin thread that is keeping my sanity together and stopping me from blowing it all to hell and kicking the bucket.
But still............... nothing

Depends what you class as reasonably prices. I would like it to be similar to BS12, 3 different versions if they are releasing enough material to make a massive box set again i would be delighted and pay whatever it costs.

Bootleg Series 13 is bigger and better than expected. I can say no more. #GospelYears.

Nice way to pique interest. Ok, I'll rephrase; I hope it's affordable! Eg Closer to £100 than £500...

From SH Forum:
not the dust of rumor. i've had the chance to read Clinton's book (or most of it, currently reading it now) and it clearly says 8 CDs. given that rumors over the past few months said 6 CDs and 2 DVDs, i was thinking that perhaps the 8 CDs number actually meant 8 DISCS. now, that still may be the case, i just don't know. before anyone asks, the book does not give a tracklisting for the Bootleg Series although it definitely talks about certain tracks that will be on there.

before anyone thinks of PMing me, i'm not trying to be a jerk, but i won't say any more than that because i'm not willing to nix my changes for future review copies, books, etc. in the future.

so, given all of that, i'm simply waiting for the tracklisting as eagerly as everyone else!

Solid. I'll take 8 discs of this era. In fact, I'll take more.

Surely we'll hear about this this week; information is beginning to spill.

Very excited, perhaps more so than any other Bootleg Series yet (have only been a big Dylan fan since 2014 however).

If that gives any hint, several songs from my videos on youtube were blocked due to copyrighted material from the Gospel Years, namely: Yonder Comes Sin, Don't Ever Take Yourself Away, Thief On The Cross. I had a similar experience with a video of the RAH 1966 shows before the big box was announced. So I'm almost sure those three songs are on the list for BS 13.

Well, some say, prove to me the Gospel set is coming, show me a sign.
What kind of sign they need when it all come from within
When what’s lost has been found, what’s to come has already been?

I'm hoping it's a Blu-Ray and not actually a DVD. I want this in HD

Thanks for the link.

It's Time for the main event: Lets start complaining about what is and what isn't on the tracklist

Yippee! I knew it was close.

First thing I noticed was no "Angelina" and "Need a Woman", which I assume is because they feature on BS1-3. This makes me think that the "Every Grain of Sand" rehearsal mentioned isn't the piano demo.

Also, "Caribbean Wind" with pedal steel? Is this the known outtake that circulates or something else entirely?

Artwork is terrible. Also too much live stuff, not enough studio.

But, I’m sure I’ll love the set. It just isn’t what I was expecting (at least half studio, half live)

No mention of DVD?

Also, I was expecting more studio sessions and outtakes, to be honest. Only 2 discs of that, with the rest being live performances.

Beggars can't be choosers but perhaps there's a Collector's Edition to be released also?

Yikes, that cover is horrible.

Does anybody know the tracklist of the 2CD set, assuming there is going to be one?

Live recordings only.

Perhaps they're making everyone fork out for the 8 disc set to hear outtakes.
