No VINYL edition?

It seems like we've only been given partial release info so far - these Amazon listings seem to be just for the MP3s, not physical formats. I imagine the official announcement on Dylan's website, that will no doubt be up soon, will have more info. Fingers crossed a vinyl edition of the 2 CD set will be announced then.

Yes, almost ordered the MP3 album by mistake. I'm guessing the CD version will be closer to a £100+.

Oh man! I got that excited I ordered. Glad I seen your post, cancelled it now. Thought it was too cheap. :(

I wonder if they'll keep Dylan's raps in the Toronto concert? Avignon '81 is one of my most played boots, never really listened to the London run as the poor sound of the audience recordings put me off. It'll be good to hear one of these in excellent quality. I guess they could have released a complete '79 gig with additions for one off etc, but I suppose this way the door is open for more releases. No DVD though...

The CD version has an extra disc not listed in the MP3 version, it's probably the DVD (but seriously, it better be a Blu-Ray)

Is it likely that the DVD will be the documentary coming out next month?

Tracklisting looks great but I regret there is no titles recorded in New Orleans in Nov 1981 at the Saenger Performing Art Center. There is a fantastic high octane version of I Want You. This show is available as The Child's Balloon when looking throug the web.
Can't wait to get the boxset!

As to Toronto:
If the songlist on Amazon is true and I did not make a mistake, this is my finding:

Saved, played at all 4 concerts, is missing
Covenant Woman, When He Returns and I Will Love Him, songs only played once in Toronto, are present. The former two are mixed into other songs from Toronto (Discs 5 and 6), whereas I Will Love Him you find on disc 3.

So unless there's no detailed information in the booklet, we can't even know from which concerts the songs on discs 5 and 6 really are.

same thing for Live in London on discs 7 and 8; the only 1981 appearance of I Don't Believe You as well as Baby Blue as the penultimate song points to June 27th, which has all the songs on these discs, but all six London shows have Dead Man after Girl from the North Country (contrary to disc 7), so Live in London might be a mixture

also I have noticed that the first four discs (61 tracks) contain "only" four tracks from Nov-Dec 1980, and "only" four tracks from Oct-Nov 1981

The Groom's Still Waiting at the Altar (Live Nov. 13, 1980)
Caribbean Wind (Live Nov. 12, 1980)
City of Gold (Live Nov. 22, 1980)
Ain't Gonna Go to Hell for Anybody (Live Dec. 2, 1980)

Solid Rock (Live Oct. 23, 1981)
In the Summertime (Live Oct. 21, 1981)
Every Grain of Sand (Live Nov. 21, 1981)
Thief on the Cross (Live Nov. 10, 1981)

I had only checked http://hisbobness.info/ at work, I am at home now and have checked the two versions on my hard drive, and the sequence is indeed the one as on disc 7, and the text files even say:

08 - Dead Man, Dead Man --- Olof has "Ballad Of A Thin Man" here.
09 - Girl From The North Country
10 - Ballad Of A Thin Man --- Olof has "Dead Man, Dead Man" here.

Besides, the more detailed track list on http://www.bobdylan.com/news/bob-dylan-trouble-no-more-the-bootleg-series-vol-13-1979-1981-coming-november-3/ published this afternoon also has "Live in Earl’s Court – London – June 27, 1981" for discs 7 and 8

Right, but that must not even be true, there are some flaws in their announcements (i.e. confusing Berkeley with San Jose once). But I think we can assume that June 27 is correct.

yes, I am assuming that indeed, whereas the Toronto 1980 "show" on discs 5 and 6, with seven tracks from 18/04, another seven tracks from 19/04, and four tracks from 20/04, will get something like the "The Bootleg Series Vol. 5: Bob Dylan Live 1975, The Rolling Thunder Revue" treatment from 2002.

These 15 songs on one album/CD in itself should be worth a fortune. I am pulling for a bonus track with these... "I Will Love Him". He performed it at one of the Massey Hall shows (May 19) so maybe, just maybe there's a studio version?

And of course, a Deluxe Release will include a songbook with lyrics and chords. (Please, O Benevolent Keeper of the Universe, we beseech Thee!!!)

I am so happy for Untrodden Path - that "I Will Love Him" is included on Trouble No More!

Peace, love, happiness and archive Bob Dylan performances & recordings,
