With me, you pretty much get what you see (read). Crazy as it may seem, I love Christmas In the Heart a listen to it several times throughout the year.

I mentioned this several years ago but I no longer own any of Bob's albums released prior to Before the Flood. After 40 years of trying to get into them and especially with so many incredible NET performances of the songs which to my ear are so much more enjoyable, I donated what I had to the local library. Hopefully others may appreciate what I never got out of them.

But truth be told, I have posted a time or two just to see if I could jerk someone's chain...

You have mentioned this once or twice Untrodden :D

I always find it baffling. Not that you would reject the 60s albums (they are brilliant but so much more twee and juvenile than all that came later) but that you choose BTF as the cut off. Planet Waves, Billy and New Morning seem so much more MidBob than YoungBob.

For me it's the Woody Guthrie tribute and Isle of White shows when things reach a whole other level although I do love the sixties pop stuff for what it is.

Might explain that recent shindig in a Dublin recording studio. Filming a video with Shane McGowan for Fairytale Of New York II.

Yup, I'm starting to think so too! x it, I'll take another Christmas album. I enjoyed the last one.

I'm ready for a move from the Sinatra stuff. Triplicate isn't getting a lot play around my home. Funny thing though, both Fallen Angels and Shadows got regular play.

If there's to be an Irish element, maybe we'll get a Dylan version of Frank Kelly's 'Twelve Days of Christmas'.
