Stu "Thank you Bob, I just wanna tell you, I went to see my psychiatrist today..."
Bob "Really ?...."
Stu "He told me I was crazy…"
Bob "Sure..."
Stu "I said, 'Well I wanna get a second opinion....' "
Bob "Right..."
Stu "… he says 'OK, well you're ugly too...!'"

Bob laughs throughout the whole intro after. When he gets to Tony, he says 'and Tony IS the psychiatrist!'... after he's done with the intros he goes into Jolene, still laughing... as you can hear when he sings 'rise'. Good moment.

Sounds quite unplanned as well. Bob was into the second introduction by the time Stu began.

As corny as these jokes are, Bob does seem to have a weak spot for them. His reactions are funnier than the jokes themselves.

Evidence that Bob could AND should do some comedy. The man has tremendous timing and delivery as his vocals have always shown.

Amazing to think Stu's still in the band. He's compliant, I suppose, and perhaps just a nice guy to have about the place. But Koella - 1 year, Kimball - 10 years...not sure I get that one.

Stu deserves close attention, he certainly doesn't look for it. I think he's an underestimated guitarist.

I think this was the middle Wang of three good Wangs with Charlie back again.

When Koella left and Stu was settling in, I think he did more lead work... Larry was the trusted anchor. With Denny coming on board, I think Denny handled the lion's share of the lead guitar work and Stu was the rhythm guitarist. My take on it is, he must have passed the test. He can play lead, no doubt, but he seems to be content with driving the train down the track and just keeping it running. He's solid, dependable, and aside from the Lincoln NE 2007 incident, seems to what Bob wants/needs for this position in the band.

The entire band was loosing it during this! This show was so awesome. Stu walked right up and grabbed Bob's mic without him knowing he'd do it. Bob loved it and lost it! So much x fun.

It was a fun time, two weeks earlier during a VERY hot Halloween show Dylan announced special guest Tom Waits, and Stu stepped to the mic with an impersonation.

Haha, that "Really." from Bob cracks me up everytime.

The Tom Waits impressions from that Fall are hilarious too. Stu did great, but Bob's timing, both verbally and body language, were hilarious. I saw the Bloomington, IN show when "Tom" did San Diego Serenade.

During the song, Bob was leaning on his keyboard with one arm and his legs crossed with kind of a shit eating grin, and then applauded very sarcastically when Stu was done, haha.
