Let's hope that the Grand piano stays on for North America.

Absolutely. The grand piano is the best addition to the stage in 10 years and with it he appears re-invigorated. With a little luck, I may catch a couple of shows this fall.

I'm very much convinced it will. Like, really really convinced.

Good. 'Cause I woke up today having dreamt that it wasn't there in Lloydminster. Bummed me out.

Forget that. We'll be toasting over a stout in some pub someday, mate.

No way, no way.... he was enjoying it far too much to drop it now.

Good shout. Mine's a Guiness with scotch chaser, just to cover the bases.

... and he seemed to have used it more, rather than less during the second half of the tour. Also, it's been ages since any changes Bob made only last one tour.

They've been working on things. Either T will turn out to be strongly piano based, or else it's a physical thing, or both.

OK, mine's something Guinness-like, but brewed right there, wherever we end up, with a shot of high-end tequila for starters.

Bob has been within 50 miles of my home four times since 2008 and all four times I was 1,500 - 2,000 miles away on business... two of those times I had tickets and was sent last minute due to a "crisis" and had to give them away. One of my friends was very appreciative... the other had the audacity to say "he changed all his songs and I don't care for them that way"...

It's not his fault really. He was dropped on his head when he was born and has never been completely "right".

I hate when that happens.

Given the economy Bush handed to Obama, I'm grateful to have a job. My department had seven people and I'm the last man standing.

My hopes... GrandBob will foster a musical and economic revolution wherein NET boots are the new currency. They'd be a great hedge against inflation and I'll easily be the king of the hill in my area. :D

This wouldn't be the first time Bob wrote a lyric with a special message just for me

That's right. I think he even took an untrodden path once, where the swift don’t win the race

I'm hoping the grand piano stays... his playfulness and style worked well with the arrangements last year and brightened the atmosphere greatly...
