I think you have to infer that it's curing depression, and I don't think one song can lead you out of it.
Music might help, at times, and might also be as welcome as a bucket of warm spit.

I don't think the questioner is talking about 'depression' in the sense of someone who has never experienced it.
Some times you hear people say depression when it's raining or it's Monday or their team lost.
You don't mean luxuriating in ennui I hope.
Depression is a serious fuxx-ing problem, and one that if you had it, you would shudder at the thought of it returning and never want to just sit and steep in it.

Bob Dylan's music is not going to help - rather the opposite - if you're depressed.

Not Dark Yet doesn't really suggest searching for an upbeat mood.
During depression, music didn't interest me at all.

..Yeah. In fact - that's the Signal.
That i NEED to FORCE myself to
go in and turn the Stereo ON.
Because Music will either take
me out of Depression into =
Anger or (hopefully) the new
Determination to get moving (again).
(either one of which is a World BETTER.)
-But Debilitating Depression is not
as easily defeated as that sounds..
What it takes to just walk in the
other room, turn on the Stereo, and
CHOOSE something to play - is an act
people who don't suffer couldn't imagine
- for the intensity of the struggle just to make
yourself do it. It's like being handcuffed and sedated
next to every negative and hopeless thought you've ever had. ..

I think that, in general, other songwriters have written more suitable songs to listen to if one is depressed. However, assuming that less than a clinical depression is involved, there are a few:

Rainy Day Women # 12 & 35

And. . . Live '64. In its entirety. Including the "gloomy" or "dark" songs.

Dylan (intentionally or not) has always come off like a creature lost in the wilderness, anyway. Not what I want when feeling depressed. There isn't much real joy in any of his music. You could accuse him of a little myopia that way.
