Tomorrow morning, we will wake up and there will be no more 2009 NET setlists to look forward to...an utterly depressing thought. We do have two new albums for 2009, which includes a Christmas polka to cheer us up and there are some incredible NET boots from the Fall tour to bring relief. And then the wait and anticipation begins...

The announcement of the 2010 Never Ending Tour schedule will be forthcoming. If the announcement comes before Christmas, my faith in Santa Claus will be renewed indeed!

My hopes for the new year....

- An announcement of the closing of Guantanamo.

- An announcement of a Middle East peace accord.

- An announcement of the end of the NET.

[aka "The Trifecta."]

Didn't you just happen to put that trifecta wish list in reverse order of importance, seems like?

I HATE this time of the year! I always associate the Christmas season with lack of new shows.

I will spend the next few months downloading as much as I can from the A-Z list.

This is an experience that always renews my faith in God. Especially on those occasions when a better quality download becomes available. It's like every day can be Christmas...and Bob...Must Be Santa!

A sad day indeed. Lots of shows I have yet to hear---hopefully enough to tide me over through the long cold winter.

TOTAL BULLSHIT !!!
There are people being killed each day, people losing friends and relatives, there are wars etc…
and you are saying that the saddest day of the year is the end of a tour?
get real - it's just pop music!

The Never Ending Tour is serious business and, to me, way beyond pop music but slewan, if you've been insulted or offended you by my statement, I apologize. Indeed, there are a lot of people being killed or dying (or suffering) and that is a terrible, horrible thing. It's really not possible to put that kind of emotional experience or toil into words so I tell you, I'm sorry.

I'm with ya Path, heading over to Boblinks for setlists is like Chrismoween morning over and over again. Hopefully, he'll feature a left-fielder or two to lessen the pain.

Hey, I just discovered Bob recorded some albums in the studio a few decades ago and some of them are quite good! Woot! Obviously it won't be like listening to these shithot audience recordings of Charlie and Bob getting it on, but it will help fill the gap.

It's not the same but I've been enjoying Saved and Knocked Out Loaded on my way to and from work lately. I have them on a cassette.

If I ever get a vehicle with a CD player I'll be able to add another hour of NET boots to my listening pleasure each day. :D

The close of a tour is a sad thing...

but I find myself somewhat depressed as this next leg is kicking off in a few days and I'm becoming more convinced Bob's call asking me to join his band isn't coming...

I've left hints and messages everywhere I can think announcing my desire and availability. I'm beginning to feel he ignores all that. :(

He ignores my desire for Chronicles II. Hardy weed that he is, that's what he should really get down to, before Gruel Marcus has to finish it for him.
