I do believe Long John and Long Johnny are two different entities - but I am not sure.

I also do believe that Ms. Parker has not popped up yet on the topic of this thread and this material...i see no reason for that here.

Yes, they are the same person. georgetez is myth. Long John(ny) is legend. That's a great write-up.

Been said a million times, but is is just astonishing that side two was recorded on the same day. January 15, 1965. I think that if it weren't for a 2nd take of It's Alright Ma, the four songs would have been recorded in one long take, in order (if I am not mistaken). It's jaw-dropping extraordinary, side two. It's church.
