Yes. I always thought that from the first listen. Not a plagiarism, but reminiscent of that song.

No, but I don't know if there's a thread going around talking about the influences in Time out of Mind. There are plenty on the albums that followed.

Sometimes when I don't listen to it for a while, and I put on Time out of Mind, I'm blown away at how brilliant an album that is. Definitely one of the great albums of the 90's and a truly phenomenal piece of work from Bob. Love Sick and Cold Irons Bound really grab me, but there are so many tremendous songs from that album, and the overall feel of it is excellent. The beginning of ModBob in my mind, and Bob truly returned to form and did all of his fans proud with that release.
