Expecting Rain

Hi fellow Bob Dylan fans!

I'm from sweden and I'm currently studying english on advanced level and last week we got an assignment and we were supposed to write an essay about a cultural phenomena in an english speaking country. Bob Dylan fan as I am I took the opportunity to write about him and try to conclude what makes his music so great.

I thought an interview with and english speaking fan would get another dimension on my essay and I started to look around and found this page, that I think I'll be active in even after my essay, and thought is anyone here would be willing to share thoughts about Bob and his music. You don't have to be an expert, even though I'm sure most of you are. My questions are about what you feel rather than what you know.

The interview won't be long, just a few questions and what you say feel or think doesn't matter I am just looking for different opinions to assist me in my essay.

Hey, I thought you might catch a Brit stepping up to do it, but if not I will do it...I always admire all of you that speak multi-languages. But just to warn you, I am from the mid-west and there are many that will think I am not very good at speaking the English language..... although it is not only my first, it is my only language Are you looking for multiple people to interview?

Just my two cents as an academic researcher, I don't think you'd go very far with interviews because there are issues concerning sampling and the reliability of your data. If you put interviews with just SOME fans without describing how you have selected them, it'd be probably something that can harm your essay and strategy, rather than providing benefits.
