My Dylan year whould have been 1964. Two albums where made that year, and it's also the year he wrote "its allright mom" and "Mr.Tambourne Man"
Not a bad year :)

This is complicated but I think I figured it out. 1981, Shot of Love. Yes everyone, I'm 40.

I guess I'd be down somewhere in Mexico with Peckinpah trying to figure out why I was in that movie or what part I was supposed to play.

I am about to enroll in the university of Minnesota (in Minneapolis). I will spend my time in the coffee shops and gathering places in Dinkytown. I will be friends with Dave Whittaker who would introduce me to cannabis. I will be a great fan of folk and particularly of Woody Guthrie. There is a lot of reading in Dinkytown, that's how i will get introduced in the Beat generation literature. After reading Bound for Glory I will go to New York to meet my hero and become a famous folk singer.

I like that period in his life, like many others. It's better than the Knocked out Loaded period or the 80s in general.

I think he means if you are the age you are now, but born in '41.... and what Bob did at that age. So you are 24 and Bob at 24 went electric.
