I've always wondered what would happen if I could meet him? I would say thank you ...and...

It's always old crank time around here...

If I met him today I'd ask him what the new album is like.

The poster you're referring to registered just 15 days after you did, old-timer.

Back to the topic....I'd ask him what his favorite albums were. There's a good chance that I'd like them if I didn't own them already.

I'd ask him if he fancied a pint of beer. It worked for a mate of mine in the private bar at a Link Wray gig in the 80s at the Music Machine in Camden! Bob said, 'yeah, thanks' and turned his back on his entourage for a pint of Bass - true story! mind you I think he may have stopped drinking now..... so perhaps a cup of tea?

I'm sure it's already been asked of him and answered but I'd like to know if he ever listens to his own stuff, and if so, how often

When I see the term "newbie" I think of a recent registrant, & I think that's how most others would interpret the word. But despite 3 posts, he's been here almost as long as you, & for all you know, he checks in every day but just doesn't post. Post totals are meaningless anyway. So few of us, myself included, post anything of real value in the grand scheme of things.

my question : "Bob Dylan, if you can, would you be a newbie in the music today?"

I could only ask this after we'd become fast friends. It's too personal a question to ask otherwise. It's also not important but it's discussed so much I'd ask, "Where do you stand with your religious/spiritual beliefs?"

I believe Bob to be a spiritual man but there's always so much speculation about his religious views due to his Gospel period. I also think it would be interesting to discuss religion/spirituality in general with him, regardless of what he's comitted to.

I'd ask him to take me on tour for one year and prepare the setlists... Bob and His Band would be working their butts off but by the end of the year we'd have current performances of every song he's ever put to vinyl and probably everything he's covered... Now THAT would be the perfect Official Bootleg Series Boxed Set. 8)

I thought this meant how many pints you would have to get her to drink before she was interested in Bennyboy..... ? :P
So many times questions are all in the point of view you choose to take

I thought he was asking something about her weight... I couldn't figure out why that mattered to Bennyboy.
