The entire Dylan/Cash session just oozes with joyous delight... you can't help but smile as these two guys put on a wonderfully warm performance... it's perhaps my most played bootleg... it's just happy fun... and we all need plenty of that!

For anyone unaware...

The clip of Bob and Cash in the studio together was first seen in the Cash documentary titled Johnny Cash: The Man, His World, His Music in 1969. It's still available on Amazon.com, but the cover shown there and on IMDB is not the actual cover. The actual cover is a lot more professional looking... and green/black. It's a great documentary if you enjoy Cash. There's another excellent clip of Don Freed performing his unreleased song "Come Away from the Road Side" HERE, taken from the same documentary. To read about Freed and that encounter go here.

EDIT: If you want to watch the documentary in low quality (though it's not that great on the DVD, it is a little better than this) you can here.
